Shadows Distance Fix is an addon that allows you to render shadows 2 meters from Geralt's face in The Witcher 3 without worrying about FPS loss. It is compatible with the latest version of the game.
To install the addon, you will first need to download the mod file. Once you have downloaded it, you will need to go into your files and open user.settings with a text editor. You will then need to find the section called CascadeShadowDistance Scale0=1 and change it into CascadeShadowDistanceScale0=5. Then, save it. That's it! You can now play the game with this mod activated.
